This single is titled “Esperanza” which in Spanish means “Hope.”
It is an Intermediate piece that moves across different positions and features lots of descending arpeggios. The melodic line is intertwined with broken chords and will require placing an accent on some of the melody notes.
I did not mark every single interpretation in the score (dynamics, tempos, accents, etc.) but you’ll see a lot of them, and you’ll certainly hear them in the performance video below.
For breaking up your practice sessions into different sections and to differentiate between the melodic notes and the harmonies, I recommend you play through the piece using blocked chords and also identify the melodic lines and play those separately.
The score is five pages long and it includes Staff and TAB notation.
