Long, Long Ago Guitar Lesson
This is a collection of 10 easy songs for guitar, presented in 10 lessons for beginning guitarists.
“Long, Long Ago” is the sixth song in the set. It uses the first four strings on the guitar and there are quite a few pairs of eighth notes in it. The player should practice their up-and-down picking technique on open strings before playing this song.
These are lessons that I used for many years, both in a studio setting as well as a group setting.
In order to be able to learn the songs, the student needs to be familiar with the basic notes in the first position on all six strings.
